Auditing is a critical tool for ensuring the compliance and safety of aerodrome operations. For lead auditors, advanced skills and techniques are essential to conducting thorough and effective audits. This 2-day training course is designed for experienced auditors who are responsible for leading complex audits under EU Regulation 139/2014.

A key feature of this course is the PEACE model of investigative interviewing, originally developed in the UK for use in criminal investigations. In this course, the PEACE model is adapted to the audit environment, providing a structured approach to communication and evidence gathering during audits. The PEACE model guides auditors through each phase of the audit process, ensuring professional and effective information collection. Its original design helps the auditor to successfully navigate through challenging or uncooperative environments.

Participants will also engage in practical exercises, including the creation of audit plans, role-playing scenarios, and group workshops to enhance their auditing capabilities. This course is suitable for those conducting audits within the framework of EASA and other regulatory requirements, particularly in aerodrome environments.
