Support with EASA Certification
Shannon Airport
This process generally requires to review and update most documentation (procedures and manuals) in order to demonstrate compliance to the new requirements. What appears to be a manageable task, is actually quite complex and time consuming – and therefore often requires external expertise and resources.
Shannon Airport asked for the services of airsight to support its certification process.
This project was initiated by the review of the Aerodrome Manual, in order to facilitate its assessment by the IAA during re-certification as well as to verify that it complies with EASA organisational, operational requirements (IR’s and AMC). Further tasks are further foreseen prior to obtaining a new certificate: this would include to define the Certification Basis (CB) or to manage eventually detected deviations etc.
airsight has years of experience in both aerodrome operations and infrastructure, as well as in the Aerodrome certification process according to EASA, ICAO or other national requirements. We are therefore able to guide aerodromes efficiently through the certification process, as well as to provide specialised support where required (training, inspections, safety assessments, documentation). Please feel free to contact us to discuss your specific needs!
