Your responsibilities:  

As a member of our Aerodrome Certification Department you will be involved in the national and international project work. The range of topics and tasks covered includes, among others: 

  • Carrying out compliance checks of offshore helidecks (periodic inspections according to SOLF and CAP 437, ICAO Annex 14 Vol. II, ICAO Doc 9261) and preparation of inspection reports 
  • Preparation, implementation and follow-up of audits and inspections (partly at the customer's premises) 
  • Direct communication with customers and authorities 
  • Further consulting services in the areas of helicopters and airport operations. 
  • Preparation of technical reports and statements for various topics (focus on helicopters and heliports) 
  • Supporting aerodrome operators and authorities in the certification of aerodrome facilities and airport operations 
  • You will be responsible for carrying out the recurring inspections, mainly in the North Sea and Baltic Sea, but also in regions worldwide. 
  • You will advise our customers in the above-mentioned subject areas, partly on site, support the airsight project management in the organization and implementation of the consulting activities and present the generated project results.

Your profile: 

  • a first degree (B.Sc. or higher) in the fields of aerospace, civil engineering or transportation, industrial engineering (or comparable) and, ideally, practical professional experience in the aviation sector. Alternatively, a completed education in the fields of aerospace, maritime shipping, wind energy or similar with at least 5 years of professional experience. 
  • Experience in dealing with relevant international and European regulations (e.g. ICAO Annex 14, (EU) 1139/2018, (EU) 139/2014, SOLF, CAP437)  
  • Initial experience in the offshore sector (e.g. wind energy sector or similar). Offshore certifications (e.g. according to GWO; BST, ) are an advantage. 
  • active or inactive helicopter pilot licenses are an advantage. 
  • Business fluent in German and English (more than half of our customers come from non-German countries)  
  • a reliable, well-structured and independent personality. 
  • a high level of analytical and conceptual thinking. 
  • a strong team orientation and a high willingness to travel. 
  • very good presentation and communication skills in German and English. 
  • the ability to set the right priorities and stay on top of things at all times. 
  • the ability to work independently and organize projects in a structured manner as well as an above-average level of commitment to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.  
  • Experience in working with CAD software. 
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office products.
